About Radius Works

Radius Works is led by its director, Luis de Barros, who oversees the implementation of projects through a network of partners and contributors. With a career spanning since 1996, Luis has been actively involved in the IT field, focusing primarily on healthcare and government entities in both Canada and the US. He began his professional journey as an application developer and gradually progressed into roles such as solution architecture and information security.

Throughout his career, Luis has been engaged with prominent organizations including University Health Network, City of Toronto, TELUS Health, and more recently Smile Digital Health. Many of these engagements placed Luis in key management positions, where he demonstrated his adeptness at guiding and overseeing teams towards successful project outcomes.

Luis' expertise extends to various domains, including information security and privacy. His commitment to professional development is evident through his possession of several esteemed certifications. These include CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer), CCSA (Certification in Control Self-Assessment), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), and TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).
